According to the experts at ESPN, Kansas City Chiefs speedster Xavier Worthy ranks as the 28th-best wide receiver for fantasy football in Week 6.
According to the experts at ESPN, Kansas City Chiefs pass-catcher Xavier Worthy is the 28th-best fantasy wide receiver heading into Week 6 of the 2026 NFL season.
After playing second fiddle to veteran wideout Rashee Rice for the past two seasons, Worthy will have an excellent opportunity to step up and establish himself as Kansas City's top receiver on Sunday.
For fantasy managers considering starting Worthy this week, here are his predicted stats against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6:
With Rice and Thornton out this week, Worthy will likely see more targets than usual on Sunday. The former Texas Longhorn has been a serviceable pass-catcher since the Chiefs selected him in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, but has yet to eclipse 100 receiving yards in a game.
With Worthy now at the top of the depth chart, he may finally reach the century mark. Tight end Travis Kelce is expected to be quarterback Patrick Mahomes' top target Sunday, but the speedster could be poised for a breakout performance.
If you've been looking for a reason to play Worthy, here it is. I feel confident he can surpass 100 yards this week.
