Indian pacer Arundhati Reddy was involved in a notable moment during the third T20I between India and Zimbabwe on Tuesday, October 20. The contest saw India post a massive total after an impressive batting display, putting Zimbabwe under pressure during the chase in Raipur.
With the visitors attempting to keep up with the required run rate, Reddy delivered a moment that caught attention during her spell. The incident involved Zimbabwe batter Nyasha Gwanzura, who came to the crease looking to contribute to her team’s chase.
Reddy delivered the ball on a good length, and it nipped back in sharply towards Gwanzura. The batter tried to force it away from the back foot but was beaten by the movement as the ball went past the inside edge and struck the leg stump.
Reddy dismissed Gwanzura for 2 off seven balls in the 18th over of Zimbabwe’s innings. The wicket marked Reddy’s 50th T20I wicket, adding a significant milestone to her performance. The dismissal further compounded the visitors’ difficulties as they attempted to build momentum during the chase.
