The final draw for the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League has been held in Cairo, Egypt, with Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa Ladies placed in Group B.
Ampem Darkoa have a chance to qualify for the competition after successfully challenging the outcome of their WAFU B qualifying final against Nigeria’s Edo Queens.
The CAF Appeal Board ruled that the final must resume from the start of extra time, with the score level at 2-2. The decision also overturned Edo Queens’ 4-1 victory in the penalty shootout. Ampem Darkoa will earn a place in the tournament if they win the rescheduled extra time.
If they qualify, the Ghanaian side will face Moroccan giants AS FAR, USFAS Bamako of Mali and Uganda’s Kawempe Muslim Ladies in Group B.
The 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League is scheduled to take place in Egypt from November 1 to November 15.
