Morocco’s under-15 national team has qualified for the second round of the World Cup finals, currently being held in Baku, Azerbaijan, after securing five consecutive victories in the opening round, underlining its strong presence in the competition.

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation announced in a statement published on its official website that the national team’s qualification came after its 5-1 win over Liberia on Monday, in a match played as part of the first-round fixtures.

Morocco had previously recorded victories over the Philippines, Costa Rica, and Belize, before extending its winning streak against Curaçao and Liberia.

The goals against Liberia were scored by Said Noufiâ, who netted a hat-trick in the 4th, 6th, and 10th minutes, Mohamed Amine El Abbassi in the 16th minute, and Yassine Ajana in the 39th minute.

With these results, Morocco’s under-15 team concludes the first round with five wins, securing its place in the second round of the World Cup finals.
