Full-back McCormack signs new Leeds contract

Leeds Rhinos full-back Fergus McCormack has signed a new three-year contract.

The 20-year-old made his debut for the Rhinos against Widnes in the Challenge Cup in February.

He made three Super League appearances in May and June before injuries gave him the chance to start in the play-off semi-final defeat by Warrington last month.

"He has come through the club's system, understands what it means to represent Leeds Rhinos and has demonstrated that he is prepared to learn and improve," head coach Brad Arthur told the club website.
