The withdrawal has resulted in a revision of Sierra Leoneโs fixtures, with the Shooting Stars set to face Mauritania on 19 October 2026 before taking on Senegal on 22 October 2026.
The revised schedule means the young Sierra Leone side will focus on these two crucial encounters as they continue their campaign in the regional competition.
With the top two teams in the group qualifying for the semi-finals, the Shooting Stars will be aiming to secure positive results in their remaining fixtures to keep their hopes of reaching the knockout stage alive.
