Vision FC attacker Richard Ofori Owusu has warned that Port City FC's experienced players could pose a significant threat when the two sides meet in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
Port City have signed former WAFA star Gideon Waja, Nsoatreman's Stephen Diyou, Kwabena Adu Meider and other experienced players following their promotion.
The forward believes the visitors have assembled a squad with players who understand the demands of the competition and are motivated to establish themselves in the top flight.
"I think they've included matured players, players who are well experienced. They know the terrain; they know what they are doing. And probably they want to come all out to prove a point in the Ghana Premier League," he said.
Port City have made an encouraging start to their debut Premier League campaign, winning four of their opening eight matches to occupy fourth place with 14 points.
They strengthened their position among the early contenders last weekend with a dramatic 2-1 away victory over Karela United FC.
Vision, meanwhile, will be hoping to use home advantage to secure another important result after returning to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Dreams FC.
The win ended a six-game winless run and lifted the Tema-based side to 13th place with nine points.
The match will take place at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, with Vision targeting back-to-back league victories for the first time this season.
