Heart of Lions assistant coach Daniel Nii Adjei is backing his side's game plan to deliver all three points when they face Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
Nii Adjei took charge of the team last weekend after head coach Kasim Gokyldiz departed, guiding the side to a 2-1 win over Bechem United.
Speaking ahead of the Week 10 encounter, the assistant coach said his players are working hard in training, adding that he is optimistic they can claim all three points if they execute their game plan well.
“We are preparing very well. All the players are working hard to get the nod to start the match on Sunday. So, we are working hard, and we are all working on a plan to use on Sunday. I think if the plan works on Sunday, we will get something from the match,” the assistant coach told Heart of Lions TV.
Nii Adjei also believes the recent victory over Bechem United has lifted the confidence of his players ahead of their meeting with the Phobians.
“Winning our last game has brought the confidence of the players up. I believe this win will also boost us and give us a lot of energy and encouragement to face Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday.”
The Week 10 Ghana Premier League fixture between Heart of Lions and Hearts of Oak will take place on Sunday, November 8.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the University of Ghana Stadium.
