Ghanaian forward Prince Adu Kwabena continued his impressive scoring run after finding the net in Viktoria Plzen’s 1-0 victory over Lillestrom in the Europa League.
The 23-year-old needed just 10 minutes to make his mark, scoring the decisive goal to hand the Czech side what was an important victory.
The former Bechem United star remained on the pitch until the 70th minute before making way for Christophe Kabongo as Plzen managed their advantage to secure all three points.
His compatriot Yaw Paintsil also came off in the 83rd minute for the home side.
The goal extends his recent run of form, with the Ghanaian now having scored three times in his last three appearances across all competitions.
His consistency in front of goal comes at an important time as Ghana prepare for the upcoming November international window, where he is expected to feature in the Black Stars squad.
Adu Kwabena will now look to maintain his scoring form in Plzen’s next fixtures as he continues to strengthen his case for another national team call-up.
