Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko believes his side have the quality to overcome Aduana FC when the two teams meet in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The Yellow and Mauve outfit will host the Dormaa-based side at the TNA Park in Tarkwa in a Matchday Eight fixture as they seek to return to winning ways.
Medeama suffered their first defeat of the 2026/27 campaign last weekend, losing 2-1 to FC Samartex at the DUN’s Park to bring their unbeaten start to an end.
However, Tanko remains confident in his players’ ability to respond against Aduana, insisting his team will devise a strategy to secure all three points at home.
“I think we also have good players like them, so definitely, we are going to map out our strategy, with the hope that we’ll get our three points here,” he told the club’s media.
Despite the setback against Samartex, Medeama remain firmly in the title race, sitting third in the league standings with 14 points from seven matches.
The defending champions have also been impressive in attack, scoring 13 goals — the highest tally in the division so far.
Tanko will be hoping his side can translate that attacking threat into another victory on Sunday as they look to maintain their challenge for the league title.
The game has been scheduled to kick-off at 15:00 GMT.
