Arsenal and Manchester City are considering moves for Newcastle United defender Valentino Livramento, who could be made available next summer if he does not agree a new contract with the club.
According to Football Insider, Newcastle United may listen to offers for the 23-year-old Englishman if negotiations over an extension fail.
Livramento has struggled for regular football since joining Newcastle United from Chelsea for £32m in summer 2024. He started 14 matches last season but missed a number of games because of injury.
His fitness problems have continued this campaign. Under manager Matthias Jaissle, Livramento has made only two Premier League appearances.
Manchester City explored the possibility of signing the defender last summer. However, an injury sustained shortly before the 2026 World Cup affected the club’s plans and prevented the move from progressing.
Arsenal are also monitoring Livramento as they look for a long-term successor to Ben White. The defender has previously been linked with Barcelona.
