THIS is the stunning moment a player was sent off for elbowing a BALL BOY.
The shocking scenes in the Canadian Premier League then turned even weirder when the young led started celebrating the red card.
VAR intervened after Supra player Alessandro Biello had an altercation as he tried to get the ball back.
Biello, whose team trailed to Cavalry in the second leg of the CPL play-offs, appeared to elbow the ball boy as he rushed to restart the game from a throw-in.
However, the young lad channelled his inner professional footballer and threw himself backwards, almost as if he was attempting to get the opposition player sent off.
And that’s exactly what happened, as a bizarre VAR review confirmed what the Cavalry ball boy wanted and saw Biello shown a red card.
The camera panned to the ball boy who could be seen jumping for joy in front of the home support.
The commentary team were baffled by the ordeal, as they said: “I have never seen this before, in 401 games of CPL commentary this is a first for me.”
The moment of madness helped Cavalry and will have delighted the ball boy, as the Calgary club advanced to the play-off final.
They will face Atletico Ottawa for the second year running.

The Eden Hazard-esque stunt from Biello will see him serve a ban at the beginning of the new football season in Canada.
Hazard famously kicked a Swansea ballboy and was sent off during Chelsea‘s league cup semi-final exit to the Swans in 2013.
However, unlike the Canadian one, that ball boy, Swansea local Charlie Morgan, wasn’t jumping for joy when Hazard was dismissed.
However he did go on to rake in £300MILLION via his luxury vodka business, Au Vodka – and he’s met up with Hazard multiple times since the incident in 2013.
