Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a move for Palmeiras striker Vitor Roque amid growing uncertainty surrounding Emmanuel Emegha's future at Stamford Bridge.
According to a report by FootballTransfers on Saturday, November 7, 2026, the Blues are among several Premier League clubs keeping tabs on the 21-year-old Brazilian forward. Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are also believed to be monitoring his situation.
Roque has managed to revive his career since returning to Brazil following a disappointing spell at Barcelona.
The Spanish giants signed him for €30 million in early 2024 but eventually allowed him to join Palmeiras for €25.5 million in February 2025, while retaining a 20 per cent sell-on clause.
The Brazilian striker enjoyed an impressive 2025 campaign, scoring 20 goals as Palmeiras finished second in both the Brazilian Serie A and Copa Libertadores.
However, injuries have disrupted his progress this year, limiting him to nine goals in 40 appearances, despite accumulating slightly over 2,000 minutes of playing time.
Nevertheless, his performances have attracted renewed attention from several European clubs ahead of the January transfer window.
Roque's agent, Andre Cury, has also confirmed the growing interest in his client, stating: "There are many clubs in Europe interested in Vitor."
Reports indicate that Palmeiras value the forward at no less than €50 million and would demand that amount before considering his departure in January, meaning any interested club would have to make a substantial financial commitment.
Chelsea's interest is particularly significant considering the attacking options currently available to manager Xabi Alonso, including João Pedro, Danny Welbeck and Emegha.
However, the Dutch striker has struggled to secure regular playing time since arriving at Stamford Bridge.
Emegha has reportedly managed just 22 minutes of action in a Chelsea shirt, having also experienced a spell on the sidelines because of a hamstring injury.
Welbeck has similarly received limited opportunities, while João Pedro continues to play an important role in Alonso's attacking plans.
Chelsea's possible move for Roque could therefore create further uncertainty over Emegha's position in the squad and his long-term future at Stamford Bridge.
