The 946 made sure their newest member, Cruz Montana, won his final match in WWE NXT. The faction came to Montana’s aid during his Unsanctioned Match against Dion Lennox on the November 4, 2026, episode of NXT, helping him finally end their rivalry.

Montana’s appearance came just two days after his surprising call-up to the main roster on RAW. The NXT star unmasked himself during the show and helped the 946 attack The Bloodline, officially revealing himself as the faction’s newest member.

However, he had one last piece of unfinished business to take care of before moving to the main roster full-time.

The 946 makes their arrival in NXT during Cruz Montana’s match against Dion Lennox

UFC star Michael Chandler served as the special guest referee for the Unsanctioned Match between Montana and Lennox. Given their heated rivalry, both men wasted no time to turn the match into a wild brawl.

Montana attacked Dion Lennox from behind at the entrance ramp to start things off, but Lennox fought back. He lifted Montana onto his shoulder and sent him crashing into the ring post and steel steps. Montana tried to bring a table into the match, but Lennox sent him spine-first into the barricade before throwing him onto a pile of chairs.

The violence continued as Cruz Montana sent Lennox crashing through part of the NXT set. He later drove Lennox into the steel steps and exposed the concrete floor, planning to do even more damage. However, Chandler stepped in for a moment to stop Montana from going any further. Lennox took advantage of the moment briefly.

Both men continued trading punches. Montana clotheslined Lennox out of the ring. He then tried to send him crashing onto the exposed concrete, but DarkState members Cutler James and Osiris Griffin suddenly appeared to help Lennox.

Just when Montana appeared to be in serious trouble, the lights went out. When they came back on, Jaida Parker was standing at ringside.

The rest of The 946 soon arrived, with Carmelo Hayes, Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, and Royce Keys making their way through the crowd. The faction immediately attacked DarkState and completely changed the direction of the match. With the numbers advantage on their side, The 946 cleared the way for Montana.

Montana powerbombed Lennox through the table he had set up earlier at ringside. He then dragged Lennox back into the ring and hit his finishing move to get the three-count.
