Ghanaian midfielder Ibrahim Osman delivered an impressive performance, registering two assists as Brighton & Hove Albion cruised to a 4-0 victory over FK Kauno Zalgiris in the UEFA Conference League on Thursday.
Osman played a key role in Brighton's dominant display at the American Express Stadium, helping Fabian Hurzeler's side begin their European campaign with a convincing win.
The 21-year-old set up Georginio Rutter for the opening goal in the 41st minute, with the French attacker finishing from close range to give the hosts the lead.
Jack Hinshelwood doubled Brighton's advantage in first-half stoppage time, finishing a move involving Rutter to put the Seagulls firmly in control before the break.
Osman continued to influence proceedings after the restart, providing another assist for Rutter, who scored his second goal of the evening in the 53rd minute.
Matt O'Riley completed the scoring in the 67th minute, heading home to seal a comfortable victory for the Premier League side.
Brighton will now turn their attention to domestic action, hosting Crystal Palace in the Premier League on October 18.
