Unai Emery Urges Nicolas Jackson to Improve Consistency Despite Positive Progress

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has expressed happiness with Nicolas Jackson’s progress but insists the Senegalese striker still has significant work to do to establish consistency and become a decisive player.

Emery acknowledged Jackson’s efforts while stressing that the forward must continue adapting and improving his performances to meet expectations.

“I’m happy for him, but I also know that he has a lot of work ahead of him, to try to be decisive, to try to keep his level steady and consistent,” Emery said.

The Spanish tactician noted that Jackson required time to adjust at the beginning but emphasised that the adaptation process is still ongoing.

“He needed some adjustment at the start, but he still needs some adjustment too and to keep moving forward,” he added.

Emery’s comments underline the importance of patience and continued development as Jackson seeks to make a greater impact on the pitch. While the Villa boss is pleased with the striker’s progress, he expects him to deliver more consistent performances and become more influential in decisive moments.

For Jackson, the challenge now is to build on his progress, adapt further to his team’s demands and translate his potential into sustained performances that can make a difference for Aston Villa.
