Italy- and Ghana-eligible midfielder Samuel Wiafe is the subject of reported interest from Juventus, with the 18-year-old currently at Genoa in Serie A.
Wiafe joined Genoa from Modena in July for €3m and has made an early impact in senior football this season. The central midfielder has appeared three times in Serie A and twice in the Coppa Italia, providing one assist in the cup.
His move to Genoa came after a rapid progression through Modena’s youth system and first team. Wiafe was promoted to Modena’s senior side in February 2026 before securing his transfer to Genoa during the summer.
The teenager has featured in 25% of Genoa’s Serie A starting line-ups this campaign and has played 28% of the club’s available league minutes. He has started half of Genoa’s Coppa Italia matches, where his assist came in two appearances.
Juventus and Genoa are both competing in Serie A, but there is no indication that a transfer has been agreed. Wiafe’s current market value is €2.5m, while his Genoa contract runs until 30 June 2030, leaving the club with the player tied down for the long term.
Wiafe remains a Genoa player as the rumour develops.
