Fenerbahçe squandered a two-goal advantage to draw 2–2 with Slavia Prague in their UEFA Champions League league-stage encounter on Tuesday, conceding a dramatic 90th-minute equaliser.

The Turkish side made a blistering start, scoring twice inside the opening 11 minutes to put themselves in a commanding position.

Milan Škriniar opened the scoring in the fourth minute, finishing a move created by O. Aydin to give Fenerbahçe an early lead.

Mason Greenwood doubled the advantage seven minutes later, converting an assist from Nuno Semedo as the hosts threatened to run away with the contest.

However, Slavia Prague responded almost immediately, with Lukáš Provod reducing the deficit in the 15th minute to revive the visitors’ hopes.

Fenerbahçe went into half-time holding a 2–1 lead but failed to restore their two-goal cushion after the break, leaving Slavia Prague within reach of an equaliser.

The visitors continued to push for a way back into the match, and their persistence paid off in the closing moments.

P. Kacor struck in the 90th minute after receiving a pass from E. Ayaosi to secure a 2–2 draw and deny Fenerbahçe all three points.

The result left the Turkish side frustrated after surrendering an early advantage, while Slavia Prague earned a valuable point through their late fightback.
