Medeama SC forward Prince Owusu has won the Ghana Premier League September Goal of the Month (GoTM) award after scoring a superb free-kick against Basake Holy Stars.

The stunning strike came during Medeama's emphatic 4-1 victory over Basake Holy Stars at the Tarkwa and Aboso Stadium during Week 4.

On the matchday, Medeama fell behind in the 14th minute when Patrick Ocran scored for Basake Holy Stars, giving the visitors an early advantage.

However, Medeama responded strongly, with Prince Owusu restoring parity in the 26th minute with a remarkable free-kick that inspired the defending champions to come from behind to earn all three points.

At the end of September, the goal has now been adjudged the Goal of the Month, beating several other top strikes within the period.
