Bibiani Gold Stars head coach Petros Koukouras has called on his players to improve their consistency in results as they prepare for their Ghana Premier League encounter against Aduana Stars.
The Miners have struggled to turn their performances into positive results in recent weeks, with Koukouras insisting that collecting points must remain the team's priority.
"I would say that consistency, but not so much consistency in the performance, but consistency in the results we take. If we see the games, especially after the away game against Vision, the team has responded very well, and the performances are very good, although some of the results were not the best we could take. And that's why I'm saying we have to improve the consistency in the results. At the end of the day, nobody's going to remember how well we play, but how many points you pick," he told Gold Stars TV.
Gold Stars suffered a 1-0 defeat to Samartex in matchweek nine, with Christian Agyenim Boateng converting a 26th-minute penalty.
The defeat leaves the defending champions 15th on the league table with 10 points from nine matches.
They will look to return to winning ways when they host Aduana Stars on November 8.
