Ashanti Ladies will be looking to return to winning ways when they host Northern Ladies in the 2026/27 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League this weekend.

Ashanti suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Fosu Royal Ladies in their opening fixture and will be determined to bounce back. Northern Ladies, meanwhile, will be making their first appearance of the season after their Matchday 1 encounter against Ampem Darkoa Ladies was postponed.

Dreamz Ladies will welcome Tamale Super Ladies in a clash involving two sides seeking their first victory. Dreamz opened their campaign with a goalless draw against Dormaa Candy Ladies, while Tamale Super Ladies were held to a 1-1 draw by Prisons Ladies. Both teams will be eager to secure maximum points.

Newcomers Dormaa Candy Ladies face another test when they travel to take on FC Savannah. The visitors will be hoping to build on their opening-day draw, while Savannah will look to use home advantage to claim a positive result.

At the Penkwase Astro Turf, Prisons Ladies will host Fosu Royal Ladies. Prisons began their campaign with a 1-1 away draw against Tamale Super Ladies, while Fosu Royal secured a 1-0 victory over Ashanti Ladies.

Fosu Royal will be targeting another win to maintain their strong start, but Prisons will be determined to make their first home fixture count.
