Hearts of Oak attacking midfielder Hussein Mohammed believes his connection with Debibi United supporters could make Sunday's Ghana Premier League encounter an interesting occasion.
Mohammed, who previously played for the newly promoted side, says he has a strong following in the area and expects some of those supporters to back him and his current club when the teams meet.
"Playing against them, I think I'm also from there. I'm from Techiman, so I can say I'm also from there because I have a lot of fans there who support Debibi United. But I think, with me being in the Hearts of Oak squad, they are also going to support Hearts of Oak," he said.
The midfielder will return to familiar surroundings when Hearts travel to the Debibi Presby Park on Sunday for their Matchday Nine fixture against Debibi United.
Hearts head into the encounter in strong form, having won their last three league matches, including a 1-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars at the UG Sports Stadium last weekend.
The result moved the Phobians to second place with 17 points after eight matches, level with league leaders Medeama SC but behind on goal difference.
Debibi, meanwhile, will be hoping to bounce back from a 3-0 defeat to Bechem United and improve their position in the standings.
The debutants are 16th with seven points, but their home record offers some encouragement, having recorded two wins and a draw in four matches at the Debibi Presby Park.
Sunday's fixture will be Hearts' first top-flight visit to the venue.
