FC Ashantigold head coach Abdul Karim Zito has set his sights on victory against Aduana FC in the Ghana Premier League this weekend.

The team from Obuasi is making the trip to Dormaa for their Week 7 fixture of the 2026/27 league campaign.

Recognising the team’s poor away form of two defeats and one draw since the start of the new season, Karim Zito insists FC Ashantigold must fight for all three points in the upcoming match.

Speaking at his pre-match interview, the experienced tactician admonished his players to believe they can get the job done.

“We have prepared well, but this time around, when you look at our away matches, aside from Port City, we failed in the rest, and this is very bad. Because of that, we have changed our approach and built the right attitude to face the task ahead. Football is about attitude. If you say you can do it, then you can do it,” Zito told FC Ashantigold TV.

The Week 7 league match between Aduana FC and FC Ashantigold will be played on Sunday, October 18. The match is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
