FC Samartex head coach Nana Kweku Agyemang has been named the NASCO Ghana Premier League Coach of the Month for September after guiding his side through an unbeaten run.

Agyemang recorded two wins and two draws in four league matches during the month, helping the Samreboi-based club maintain consistency in the opening stages of the 2026/27 season.

The Timber Giants scored six goals and conceded three across the four matches, highlighting their effectiveness in attack and resilience in defence.

As part of the prize package, the Samartex coach will receive a 43-inch NASCO television and a chest freezer.

FC Samartex suffered their first defeat of the season against AshantiGold 04 last week and will hope to return on winning ways when they host champions Medeama SC this weekend at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex.
