According to a report by Football London on Friday, November 6, 2026, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka will be out of action for several weeks as the Gunners prepare to take on Hull City in the Premier League on Saturday.
The England international is expected to miss the encounter after picking up a quadriceps injury during Arsenal's Champions League trip to Bayern Munich.
Saka's absence is a major setback for Arsenal as they look to maintain their position at the top of the Premier League table, where they currently hold a three-point advantage over Manchester City.
Speaking ahead of Saturday's fixture, Arteta disclosed that the winger would not return to training until after the international break.
"We're talking about obviously weeks, let's say after the international break," the Arsenal manager said.
"He's going to start hitting the pitch and start to have more activity and see how he feels, but unfortunately he's going to be out for a while."
Meanwhile, Arsenal have received a boost with Ezri Konsa available for selection after recovering from the knee problem he sustained against Slavia Prague.
Arteta explained that the defender had made good progress after being substituted as a precaution during Wednesday's victory.
"Yeah he's fine, he was feeling much better today, we took him out for precaution and for the amount of minutes that he was playing but yesterday and today he's feeling good," he added.
William Saliba could also provide another boost for the Gunners after returning to full training. The French defender has been unavailable since recovering from a back injury but was named among the substitutes against Slavia Prague.
However, Max Dowman will miss Saturday's meeting with Hull City through suspension following his red card against Fleetwood Town in the Carabao Cup.
Arsenal's appeal against the dismissal was rejected, leaving the teenager to serve a three-match suspension.
Hull City also have several injury concerns ahead of the encounter, with Eliot Matazo, Matt Targett, Lucas Gourna-Douath, Ilyas Ansah, Darko Gyabi, Charlie Hughes and Matt Crooks all unavailable. Jack Butland is also a doubt.
Despite losing Saka to injury, Arsenal will be aiming to claim another victory against Hull City and extend their advantage at the top of the Premier League table.
