Real Madrid Confirm Squad For Valencia Clash as Key Midfield Duo Return

According to a report by Madrid Universal on Friday, November 6, 2026, Real Madrid will travel to Mestalla on Saturday to face Valencia in their final fixture before the season's second international break, with manager Jose Mourinho confirming his squad for the encounter.

Los Blancos have received a major boost with the return of midfielders Aurelien Tchouameni and Arda Guler, who have both been included after missing Wednesday's Champions League clash against AEK Athens.

There had been concerns over Tchouameni's availability after he missed Thursday's group training session. However, the French midfielder returned to full training on Friday and is now available for selection alongside Guler.

Meanwhile, Vinicius Jr will be absent from the La Liga fixture as he continues serving his four-match domestic suspension. The Brazilian also missed Friday's training session after travelling to Dubai for commercial commitments.

Raul Asencio and Rodrygo have also been ruled out of the trip to Valencia as they continue their respective injury recoveries.

Ferland Mendy remains another absentee, with the French defender still working towards regaining full fitness before returning to competitive action for the Spanish giants.

Young midfielder Thiago Pitarch has kept his place in Mourinho's first-team squad. However, the youngster is still waiting to make his senior debut under the Portuguese manager.
