According to a report by BBC Sport on Friday, October 30, 2026, Galatasaray recorded an impressive 4-0 victory over Konyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig, producing a dominant display that highlighted their attacking strength, clinical finishing and defensive organisation.
Victor Osimhen gave the visitors the lead in the 12th minute, rising above the defenders to head home a free-kick delivery with power. Galatasaray continued to dominate possession and put pressure on their opponents, creating several opportunities to extend their advantage.
Yunus Akgun made it 2-0 in the 28th minute with an excellent long-range effort that found the top-right corner. His goal further strengthened Galatasaray's control of the match, leaving Konyaspor with little response before the break.
The hosts tried to get back into the contest through Rajmund Toth and Jackson Muleka. Muleka came close to reducing the deficit in the 39th minute, but his effort struck the crossbar. Galatasaray held on to their two-goal advantage and went into halftime firmly in control.
The visitors continued where they left off after the restart, adding a third goal in the 49th minute through Alexey Batrakov. He produced an impressive individual run, got past his marker and finished accurately into the bottom-left corner.
Galatasaray extended their lead further after VAR awarded them a penalty in the 54th minute. Rafael Leao stepped forward and converted from the spot a minute later, sending his effort into the top-left corner to make it 4-0.
Leao came close to scoring again shortly afterwards, while Osimhen was denied by a fine save from the Konyaspor goalkeeper. Galatasaray's substitutes helped maintain the team's intensity as the visitors gradually focused on managing their comfortable lead.
Konyaspor struggled to create clear chances despite enjoying some spells of possession. Enis Bardhi had an opportunity from a late free-kick, but his effort went narrowly over the crossbar as the hosts failed to find a consolation goal.
Galatasaray eventually completed a convincing 4-0 win, with Osimhen, Akgun, Batrakov and Leao all getting on the scoresheet. Their attacking efficiency and ability to control the match ensured they left with all three points in their Turkish Super Lig campaign.
