Chelsea Target Nico Paz Delivers Goal And Assist In Como’s Serie A Victory

According to a report by Football London on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, Chelsea target Nico Paz continued his impressive form by scoring a goal and providing an assist in Como’s 3-1 victory over Torino in Serie A on Tuesday night.

The Argentine midfielder played a key role in the comeback win after Che Adams gave Torino an early advantage.

Chelsea have reportedly sent scouts to watch Paz in two matches as they consider a possible move for the 22 year old. The playmaker has emerged as one of the most exciting attacking midfielders in European football, attracting interest with his performances for Cesc Fabregas’ side.

Paz has continued to impress despite growing speculation about his future. His ability to create chances, score goals and influence important matches has strengthened his reputation across Europe.

Torino took the lead when Adams beat Chelsea loanee Robert Sanchez by sending the ball through the goalkeeper’s legs. Sanchez, who was making his third appearance for the Italian club, later produced an excellent save from a corner, tipping an effort onto the crossbar.

Como eventually found their way back into the match through Paz’s creativity. In the 81st minute, the Argentine delivered an excellent cross from deep, allowing Jacobo Ramon to head home the equaliser.

Five minutes later, Paz completed the turnaround by rising highest to score Como’s second goal. Martin Baturina then added a third to secure the victory for Fabregas’ team.

The performance further highlighted Paz’s importance to Como. He has now recorded 11 goals and assists in 11 appearances this season, underlining his growing influence in attack.

The midfielder also impressed in Como’s 4-1 victory over Manchester United, scoring twice and providing an assist.

Chelsea’s reported interest comes as questions remain over the cost of signing the Argentine. Real Madrid are said to have a buyback clause worth approximately £70 million, giving the Spanish giants a strong position regarding his future.

Any attempt by Chelsea to secure Paz’s signature could therefore prove expensive, especially if Madrid decide to bring him back to the Santiago Bernabeu.
