Atalanta are facing an injury crisis of sorts ahead of their game against AC Milan, with Giacomo Raspadori now added to an already long list of absentees.
Milan have been dealt their fair share of injury blows just in the last week or so, with Matteo Gabbia and Alexis Saelemaekers confirmed to be out for months. Despite this, they might not be the side with the worst injury situation in Sunday’s game against Atalanta.
The former Rossoneri man Franck Kessie has already been ruled out for the game, as has Giorgio Scalvini, which is far from ideal for Maurizio Sarri as they have been starters so far. It doesn’t end with those two, though.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Giacomo Raspadori received a knock during Thursday’s game against Pafos in the Conference League. He scored and assisted a goal before he was subbed off in the 21st minute, and it looks like he will miss Sunday’s clash.
Raoul Bellanova missed the Pafos game just like Kessie and Scalvini, but he’s still hoping to make it back for the game against Milan. It looks like it could be tough for him, so it’s clear that Sarri is in a difficult situation.
The other injured players are Isak Hien, Odilon Kossounou, Thomas Pompei and Kamaldeen Sulemana.
