Porlock receive walkover in Rowbarton Charity Cup first round
Taunton Saturday League football

PORLOCK are through to the next round of the Taunton Saturday Football League’s Rowbarton Charity Cup - without kicking a ball.

The West Somerset side were due to play Bridgwater Grasshoppers on the 4G pitch at Bridgwater Sports Centre on Friday, October 30, but their opponents have cried off.

Another team through to the next round of the competition are Nether Stowey who beat Racehorse Rovers Reserves 1-0 earlier this week - at the Bridgwater Sports Centre.

Meanwhile Minehead Reserves, whose match at home to Dunwear United in the Premier Division last weekend was postponed because of the bad weather, play at home to Racehorse Rovers in a league match on Saturday, October 31 (2p.m.).

Porlock will also be in action in the Premier Division when they play away to North Petherton.

Minehead Colts play AFC Taunton in the second division at Dunster, while Porlock Reserves entertain North Petherton Reserves and Watchet Town Reserves are away to Racehorse Rovers Reserves.
