Amazing Red has reportedly signed a new contract with TNA following his return at Bound For Glory 2026.
Red’s return to TNA initially appeared to centre on his Hall of Fame induction at the October 11 event. However, he surprised fans by announcing during his induction speech that he would compete for the vacant X-Division Championship later that night.
The veteran wrestler bested BDE, Rich Swann, KC Navarro, Fabian Aichner, Cedric Alexander, and Ryan Nemeth in a seven-man scramble to capture the title. He secured the victory by hitting KC Navarro with the Code Red, earning his fourth reign with the championship.
According to a report from PWInsider, Red has committed to TNA, although the promotion has yet to officially announce the signing.
“TNA Hall of Famer The Amazing Red, who won the X-Division Championship at Bound for Glory earlier this month, has officially signed with the promotion, PWInsiderElite.com can confirm. The promotion has yet to officially announce the deal, but we can confirm it is done and Red has committed to the promotion,” the report stated.
Red previously held the X-Division Championship in 2010. His latest victory ended a gap of more than 16 years between reigns and added another milestone to his TNA career.
The 44-year-old is also the founder of House of Glory Wrestling, an independent promotion based in New York. Red helped establish himself as one of the X-Division’s influential performers during his earlier TNA runs between 2002 and 2004 and 2009 and 2011.
The title had become vacant after Leon Slater exercised Option C to challenge for the TNA World Championship. Slater subsequently won the world title, defeating Nic Nemeth in the Bound For Glory main event.
