Declan Rice's thunderous late strike rescued a point for Arsenal in a thrilling Champions League battle with Bayern Munich.
The Gunners started brightly but suffered an early blow when Bukayo Saka picked up a worrying injury. The England international immediately went to ground after playing a pass just nine minutes into the contest.
Saka was able to run at Alphonso Davies for the first time, in what looked to be an intriguing battle between the two, but after cutting back and moving inside to play a pass, he immediately fell down holding his left thigh.
The winger was replaced by Eberechi Eze and just 15 minutes after his introduction, the playmaker had the north Londoners 1-0 up at the Allianz Arena.

The substitute charged into the box from the left after being sent away by Martin Odegaard and fired a fine strike into the bottom corner. The effort was initially ruled out but VAR intervened to determine that Josip Stanisic was playing him onside.
Just 10 minutes later, though, and Bayern were level - and it was Tottenham icon Kane who played his part. The England captain grabbed a sublime assist, playing in an inch-perfect pass for Alphonso Davies to latch on to and score the first-half equaliser.
Arsenal came out firing in the second-half and Eze went close to getting his second, but it was Bayern who scored the game's third goal. Kane saw his effort handled by Jurrien Timber in the box and the striker duly stepped up from the penalty spot to send David Raya the wrong way.
But Arsenal bounced back, with Rice's thunderous strike hitting the back of the net with eight minutes to play after great link-up play with substitute Viktor Gyokeres.
Here are our player ratings...
David Raya
Showcased why he's been nominated for the Yashin Trophy when diving low to save Serge Gnabry's drive. Made another top spot in the second half to deny Dayot Upamecano. 7.5
Jurrien Timber
Caught out by Harry Kane's pinpoint curling pass in behind for Alphonso Davies' equaliser. That was more about the quality of the ball, though. In the second half, he then handled Kane's shot which resulted in a penalty, which the England captain converted. 5
Ezri Konsa
Booked for catching Harry Kane's left foot with big tackle but responded well with another huge block. Also stopped another goal-bound shot from Alphonso Davies on 56 minutes. 7
Gabriel Magalhaes
Made brilliant tackle on Alphonso Davies around 17 minutes, winning goal-kick. Timed to perfection. Made another great intervention in the second half. 7
Riccardo Calafiori
Missed a big chance from a corner at the back post. Nearly got onto the end of a second-flick on too following another corner later in the first half. 6
Declan Rice
Put himself about and was central to Arsenal's confidence start. They were excellent in the opening 30 minutes and Rice oozed quality. Also put some very dangerous corners into the box. Eventually delivered when his side needed him. Great link-up play with Madueke and then Gyokeres, who played in Rice to score a superb late equaliser. 8.5
Bruno Guimaraes
Went close with header from Declan Rice's corner early in the second half. Quiet in spells but tidy in possession and ticked things over. 6.5
Bukayo Saka
Subbed off with quad injury inside nine minutes. Could barely walk down tunnel after brief conversation with worried boss Mikel Arteta. N/A
Martin Odegaard
Wonderful curling ball to play Eberechi Eze through for the opener. Seemed to relish the platform and occasion. 7
Noni Madueke
Completed several dribbles and tried to get Arsenal up the pitch. Moved into his favoured right-wing following Bukayo Saka's injury but did not see as much of the ball as he would have liked. Needs to work on the timing of his runs. 6
Kai Havertz
Booked for early lunge on Josip Stanisic. Involved in parts but not the focal point he can be, even if his play was smart in pockets. Experienced in terms of knowing when (and when not) to press. 6
Eberechi Eze (on for Saka, 10 minutes)
Was handed a big chance to get going again following tough afternoon at Nottingham Forest on Sunday on the back of Bukayo Saka's early injury. Started brightly and got his rewards, firing in exquisite opener in real style on his weaker foot. Not an easy finish and then went close again on 53 minutes. 8
Viktor Gyokeres (on for Havertz, 68 minutes)
Played his part after coming on, teeing up Rice to pile home Arsenal's equaliser. 7.5
Myles Lewis-Skelly (on for Guimaraes, 69 minutes)
Mikel Merino (on for Odegaard, 85 minutes)
