Shabana FC return to 'home' soil tomorrow, nevertheless the venue is unfamiliar. With Gusii Stadium under renovation, the Glamour boys will host Nairobi United at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru on Sunday at 3:00 pm in their first home fixture of the 2026/27 season.
Tore Bobe are lifted by the away win against Posta Rangers. This is even as Nairobi United seek their first win after sharing spoils with KCB at Police Sacco last weekend in a 2-2 stalemate.
Head coach Fathi Ahmed maintained that preparation has been methodical.
“Like every week we solve mistakes from the last game. Fitness is fine and this is our home ground. We will defend it with everything and fight for the three points,” he said, urging fans, the 12th player whose presence boosts the boys’ morale.

Midfielder Biron Otieno framed the encounter as both statement and quiet reckoning. “We are well prepared and expect positive results. It is a kind of revenge from last season. Winning the first game lifts us on the table,” he noted, urging the ultras to pack Afraha and pump the energy.
The temporary Nakuru base therefore becomes more than logistics. It gives Shabana an early chance to convert away form into home points while testing Nairobi United’s resolve to convert a draw into a win.
