The incident happened on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Winter Park, Florida, during an i9 Sports recreational league match.

Videos shared by his family show Nevada dribbling past 5-year-old children, keeping possession and scoring goals with amazing confidence for his age.

His parents, Martasia Griffin and Don Pierre, claim their son was targeted because he was too good. According to them, other parents complained that their children could not take the ball away from Nevada.

His father said in a video that went viral: "They called the police on a 3-year-old because he had the ball for too long."

The league director, Thomas Hayes, called 911 asking police to rush to the field, calling the parents disruptive. Audio of the 911 call was released by Winter Park Police Department.

When officers arrived, the director claimed Nevada was pushing other kids and that he was trying to manage playing time for all children. He also said the family would be refunded.

The parents were told their son would no longer be allowed to play in the league. Police said it was a civil matter, not criminal. No one was arrested.

Nevada's mother said she could not explain to her 3-year-old son why he could not play. She said her son had scored over 40 goals in 5 games this season.
