Barça Atlètic have suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 2-0 away to Olot after opening their league campaign with six wins and a draw. Goals from Rai Marchan and Marc Tenas ended Belletti's side's unbeaten run in Segunda RFEF, although the Catalans remain top of the table.
The visitors made a bright start, with Ignasi Quer forcing an early save from Ballesté. Barça dominated possession but struggled to break down a well-organised Olot defence. Tunkara also went close, only to be denied by the home goalkeeper. Olot gradually grew into the game, with Arumí threatening before the break, but neither side could find a breakthrough.
The game changed dramatically after half-time. Rai Marchan opened the scoring in the 47th minute, before Marc Tenas converted a penalty seven minutes later to double Olot's lead.
Barça Atlètic tried to respond, with Aziz striking the post, but the hosts remained solid defensively. The visitors hit the woodwork again and had a late goal ruled out for offside, leaving them unable to find a way back into the contest.
Despite their first setback in eight league games, Belletti's side remain top of the Segunda RFEF standings. They will look to bounce back on Saturday 31 October when they host Arnedo at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
