Congo have announced their preliminary squad for the Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifiers, with the matches scheduled to take place in November.

Among the notable inclusions are young midfielder Nehemiah Fernandez of AS Nancy and full-back Niels Nkounkou of OGC Nice. Their potential involvement adds two new options to Claude Le Roy’s Diables Rouges squad as they prepare for what will be decisive qualification fixtures.

Should they remain in the final selection, the players based in France will provide further depth as Congo begin their campaign to reach the 2027 tournament.
