Abdellah Ouazane is attracting interest from Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Juventus, according to information reported by 4-4-2.ch.

The 17-year-old Morocco youth talent is continuing his development with Ajax Amsterdam and has already drawn the attention of several leading European clubs because of his potential.

Ouazane has been used regularly in the Eredivisie, primarily on the left side of the attack. He can also play as a central attacking midfielder, with that flexibility adding to his appeal for clubs monitoring his progress.

The interest comes as Ajax attempt to secure the teenager’s future. His current contract runs until June 2028, but the Dutch club would like to extend the agreement after Ouazane’s 18th birthday on 15 January next year.

Salary demands could complicate Ajax negotiations

Ajax’s efforts to retain their young player could be made more difficult by the financial demands of his representatives.

According to the report, Ouazane’s entourage is seeking an annual salary of between 4 and 5 million euros. That figure could significantly disrupt Ajax’s wage structure and is understood to be causing hesitation for sporting director Jordi Cruyff.

A move to one of Europe’s leading domestic leagues therefore remains possible, although no transfer has been officially confirmed.

Ouazane’s market value is currently estimated at 8 million euros. His situation will continue to attract attention as Ajax seek to retain a player viewed as one of their most promising young prospects.

Ajax Amsterdam are due to play AZ Alkmaar in the 11th round of the Dutch league.
