KANSAS City Chiefs star Kenneth Walker has been called out for his postgame behavior following his team’s rout loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Walker and the Chiefs disappointed mightily as they suffered their first loss of the NFL season on Sunday Night Football.
The Seahawks held their former running back Walker and the rest of the Chiefs offense in check.
Walker recorded 14 carries for 36 rushing yards while averaging 2.6 yards per attempt.
And the Chiefs failed to enter the red zone once in the game, a first for Patrick Mahomes‘ career.
It was Walker’s worst showing since joining the Chiefs this past offseason.
But the Super Bowl 60 MVP’s actions after the game received the most attention.
Walker appeared to run off the field after the loss without catching up with his former teammates.
Players typically meet each other and shake hands following the game, especially if there are previous ties between the player and the opponent.
Social media users were quick to slam Walker’s postgame decision.
“Zero respect.. he’s childish. Remember he wanted out bc he wanted to be the only back to get 2k rushing yards a season. Cry me a river K9 frfr,” one said on X.
“He ran harder to the locker room than he did all night,” another joked.
“Poor sportsmanship shown by K9,” a third added.
After the game, Walker revealed why he didn’t want to see his old teammates after the loss.
