Enugu Rangers International FC have announced an eight-player shortlist for their October 2026 Player of the Month award.
The defending NPFL champions revealed the nominees on Thursday morning, with supporters invited to choose the player they believe made the biggest contribution during the month.
Rangers continued their challenge at the top of the table in October, and the winner will be determined entirely by fan votes cast through the club’s official social media channels.
The shortlisted players are Folarin Temitope, Godwin Obaje, Kenneth Igboke, James Emo, Ifeanyi Okechukwu, Iwundu Chidozie, Chidiebere Nwobodo and Abuchi Okeke.
Six of the names are new to the shortlist compared with September, when Igwilo Chimaobi, Azeez Falolu, Daniel Itodo and Austin Opara were among the contenders.
Iwundu Chidozie and Abuchi Okeke have retained their places after featuring on the previous shortlist, with both players again recognised for their performances across September and October.
There are also returns for veteran striker Godwin Obaje and captain Chidiebere Nwobodo. Both players have been included after making match-winning contributions for the Flying Antelopes during October.
September’s award was won by Oputa Chibueze, who collected 627 votes, but he is not among the nominees this time.
Fans will decide which of the eight shortlisted players succeeds Oputa as Rangers’ October Player of the Month.
