African transfer watch: Mofokeng attracts €15m interest as Yirajang joins new agency

Several European clubs are monitoring South African winger Relebohile Mofokeng, while Gambian prospect Alasana Yirajang and Cameroon striker Angel Yondjo Matah have agreed representation deals, according to the latest African football updates on 20 October 2026.

Mofokeng attracting interest

Relebohile Mofokeng could be one of the players to watch during the January transfer window, with Lille and Bayer Leverkusen among the clubs following the 21-year-old closely.

The South Africa international currently plays for Union Saint-Gilloise and could attract bids of about 15 million euros in the winter market, according to Ekrem Konur.

Atletico Madrid, Naples, Chelsea and Brighton are also understood to be monitoring his progress. Mofokeng is contracted to Union Saint-Gilloise until 30 June 2030, with a further year available as an option. His current market value is estimated at 6 million euros.

Yirajang signs with Premium Sports Management

Alasana Yirajang has become the latest African player to join Premium Sports Management.

The Gambian left winger, who plays for Slovan Bratislava, was previously with Real de Banjul. The agency confirmed the agreement on its Instagram account.

Yirajang is currently valued at 1.5 million euros. He joined Slovan Bratislava in the summer of 2025 and remains under contract with the Slovak club until 30 June 2030.

Yondjo future remains uncertain

Cameroon centre-forward Angel Yondjo Matah has also appointed Premium Sports Management to oversee his career, with the agency announcing the move on Instagram.

The 19-year-old is contracted to LOSC until 30 June 2030 and has an estimated market value of 200,000 euros.

However, the player’s representatives are seeking a move during the winter window, according to exclusive information from Africafoot, with the aim of securing the playing time needed for his development. A loan without an option to buy could be considered.

Agada set for Slovakia move

Nigerian striker Excell Agada is expected to join AS Trencin in January from Golden Boots Soccer Academy.

Footy-Africa reports that an agreement has been reached to enable the transfer during the winter window.

Agada had attracted interest from several clubs in Sweden, Norway and Saudi Arabia, but the young forward is understood to have opted for the Slovakian side as he looks to continue his development and begin his career in European professional football.
