Badalona Women 0-4 Barça: Resounding away victory
Badalona Women 0-4 Barça: Resounding away victory

Another win for Barça in the Liga F. The blaugranes ran out 0-4 winners against Badalona Women after making the short trip to the Municipal de Palamós stadium, with Kerolin (2), Graham and Pina getting the goals.

Kerolin off the mark in the league

After a minute's silence for the victims of the rail accident close to Toledo, the blaugranes were straight into action, with Graham firing a looping shot that hit the bar within a minute. Kerolin soon opened the scoring, getting her first goal in the Liga F after collecting a great first time pass from Aitana and dribbling past the home side keeper (0-1, min 5).

The blaugranes dominated possession for the rest of the half, but the chances weren't coming, while Badalona Women were relying on couterattacks. Serrajordi came closest midway through the half, but home keeper Txell Font made a great stop and it remained 0-1 at halftime.

Graham penalty

The second half began much more frenetically, as the home side stepped up the pace to try to draw level, with Uribe coming closest after her free kick hit the bar. The ball hit the bar for third time in the match after 61 minutes, this time from a Rosalía shot. Played continued, culminating in Carla Julià appearing to be pulled back as she tried to reach a low ball fired across the six yard area. The referee didn't see it in real-time, but the blaugrana bench asked for a review, which led to the penalty call and a red card for Lucía Martínez. Graham finished the penalty well into the bottom left corner (0-2, min 61).

Kerolin brace and Pina strikes again

The player advantage saw the blaugranes push for more, and the third came shortly after through Kerolin. The Brazilian got her brace after seizing on a rebound from a Mayssa shot (0-3, min 65) to finish at the far post. Substitute Claudia Pina then scored the fourth with a trademark curler from the edge of the area with her left foot (0-4, min 75) to continue her prolific Liga F goalscoring form, making it now 10 goals in nine gameweeks. Final score 0-4.

Next up for the Liga F leaders: Madrid CFF at the Estadi Johan Cruyff on 8 November (kick-off 4.00pm CET).
