In England, Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi scored his first goal of the campaign as Fulham secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Hull City.

The young forward headed home a close-range rebound after Connor Ripley saved Mason Hancock’s effort.

In Italy, Super Eagles striker Akor Adams proved decisive for Venezia, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Napoli to secure the club’s first win of the campaign.

The Nigerian international used his strength to hold off a defender before firing past the goalkeeper.

The youngster scored his first league goal of the campaign in the first half, powering home a precise cross from Killian Phillips.
