Three goals, three leagues.

Iwobi struck for Fulham against Hull City on Saturday, his first goal of the season in seven starts for one of the Nigerians in the Premier League, while Adams scored the only goal as Venezia beat Napoli 1-0 on the same day and Dele-Bashiru followed on Sunday with a goal for Lazio away to Juventus.

Adams keeps knocking on the door

Adams now has four goals for Venezia since his move from Sevilla in July. Two came in Serie A, two in the Coppa Italia. He also scored the stoppage-time equaliser in the 3-3 friendly against Russia on 6 October, and the goals keep coming at the right time for a striker fighting for a Super Eagles place.

Dele-Bashiru is a different case. His goal in Turin was his first of the season and came in only his fourth appearance since he returned to Lazio from his loan. Two starts in four games is thin. A goal at Juventus is the kind of result that changes a coach's mind.

In Marseille, Tochukwu Nnadi set up a goal at Angers on Sunday.

The scorers' table

Nobody has caught Iheanacho. His last game was on 15 October, and his record of a goal in every league match for Bursaspor, in Turkey's second tier, is the most eye-catching run any Nigerian has put together this season, whatever the level of the opposition and whatever happens when the Turkish schedule gets heavier in the winter months. Behind him, Gift Orban (Amed, on loan from Hoffenheim), Tolu Arokodare (Ajax, on loan from Wolves) and Rafiu Durosinmi (Genk) sit on seven each. Victor Osimhen and Cyriel Dessers have six.

The worry for Chelle is at the other end of the list.

Paul Onuachu, who scored in Trabzonspor's Conference League game on 15 October, has been listed with a muscle injury since that night. Zaidu Sanusi, Victor Boniface, Umar Sadiq and Taiwo Awoniyi have all gone more than three weeks without a club appearance, and none of them has a reported injury.
