La Liga Reports 17 Incidents from Barcelona vs Real Madrid Clasico Including Alleged Assault

According to a report by Madrid Universal on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, La Liga has reported 17 incidents involving supporters during Sunday's El Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid, including offensive chants, objects thrown onto the pitch and an alleged assault on Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

The incidents have been referred to the Spanish Football Federation's Disciplinary Committee and the Anti-Violence Commission for further consideration.

The incidents occurred during Real Madrid's 2-1 victory over Barcelona at the Spotify Camp Nou on October 25. Kylian Mbappe scored the winning goal, helping Madrid secure an important result in the La Liga title race.

Barcelona supporters involved in 10 incidents

La Liga's report listed 10 incidents involving Barcelona supporters. These included offensive chants directed at Marc Cucurella, Jose Mourinho, Real Madrid and the club's supporters.

The report also highlighted events following Mbappe's second goal, when objects were thrown from the stands towards the pitch. The items reportedly included bottles, cans, lighters and a vaping device.

Although none of the objects struck Real Madrid players, the incident prompted match officials to activate the stadium's protocol for objects being thrown onto the pitch.

The referee stopped the game for one minute and 20 seconds while a stadium announcement called on supporters to stop throwing objects.

Another incident involved Camavinga, who was reportedly struck with a flag by a Barcelona supporter during Madrid's celebrations. The incident occurred in the 87th minute, according to La Liga's report.

Barcelona's security personnel identified the supporter involved, and the club is preparing to take action under its internal regulations.

Real Madrid supporters also reported

The remaining seven incidents involved Real Madrid supporters who directed offensive chants towards Barcelona during the match.

La Liga's report also noted that the incidents involving Barcelona supporters were concentrated in specific sections of the stadium.

The relevant disciplinary bodies will now examine the reported incidents and decide whether further action is necessary. No specific punishment has been confirmed against either club.

The report has brought renewed attention to supporter behaviour and the need to protect players during matches, particularly when celebrations take place close to the stands.
