The Nigerian youngsters produced an outstanding performance to overcome their Brazilian opponents, with Queen Joseph and Awawu Bashiru playing decisive roles in securing the historic win.
Joseph opened the scoring for Nigeria in the 56th minute, giving the Flamingos an important advantage after a competitive first half.
The team continued to press forward and increased their lead in the 71st minute when Bashiru found the back of the net to make it 2-0.
Bashiru later completed her brace in the 80th minute, putting Nigeria firmly in control of the encounter and taking their advantage to three goals.
Brazil managed to find the net, but their effort was insufficient to prevent the Flamingos from recording a convincing 3-1 victory and securing their place in the final.
The qualification represents a significant achievement for Nigeria's youth women's football team, which previously won a bronze medal at the 2022 edition of the tournament.
Their latest success marks the first time the Flamingos have progressed to the final of the competition, highlighting the team's determination and impressive progress on the international stage.
Having overcome Brazil, Nigeria will now turn their attention to the final, where they will face Japan for the championship title.
The Flamingos will be hoping to maintain their impressive form and defeat the Japanese side to claim their first-ever FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup trophy.
A victory in the final would further cement the team's place in Nigerian football history and deliver a major achievement for the country's women's football development.
