Final EPL Table After Arsenal Won 1-0, Manchester United Drew 1-1 And Chelsea Won 2-0

According to a report by The Guardian on Sunday, October 18, 2026, the Premier League table has taken shape following another round of exciting fixtures, with Arsenal recording a narrow victory over Nottingham Forest, Manchester United dropping points against Leeds United and Chelsea claiming a convincing win over Everton.

The results have further influenced the race for the Premier League title and the battle for European qualification, with Manchester City continuing to set the pace at the top of the standings.

Arsenal earned a valuable 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. The Gunners faced a difficult challenge against a Forest side that defended well and prevented them from scoring during the opening 45 minutes.

However, Arsenal eventually broke the deadlock in the 80th minute when Noni Madueke scored with an effort that took a deflection before entering the net. The goal proved enough to secure maximum points for Mikel Arteta's men.

With this result, Arsenal moved to 18 points from seven matches, maintaining second place and keeping the pressure on Manchester City.

Manchester United, on the other hand, were unable to secure a victory against Leeds United at Elland Road. Bryan Mbeumo gave Michael Carrick's side the lead in the first half, but the visitors could not protect their advantage until the final whistle.

Leeds fought back after the interval, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring the equaliser to make it 1-1. Neither side managed to find another goal, forcing Manchester United to settle for a single point.

The draw leaves United with seven points from seven matches, a disappointing return that has placed them in 13th position on the league table. The Red Devils will need to improve their performances if they hope to move closer to the European qualification places.

Chelsea had a more productive outing, defeating Everton 2-0 at Goodison Park. Pedro Neto was the standout performer, finding the net twice to deliver an important victory for the Blues.

The result took Chelsea to 13 points, strengthening their position in fourth place and keeping them within reach of the teams above them.

Manchester City remain top of the standings with 21 points after winning their first seven matches. Arsenal are second on 18 points, while Brighton and Hove Albion occupy third place with 16 points following their impressive 5-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

Chelsea sit fourth with 13 points, while Liverpool are fifth with 12 points after coming from behind to defeat Brentford 2-1.

Brentford occupy sixth place with 10 points, the same total as Leeds United in seventh and Everton in eighth. Hull City and Ipswich Town complete the top ten, with both clubs having accumulated nine points.

Newcastle United and Aston Villa are 11th and 12th respectively, with eight points each. Manchester United occupy 13th place with seven points, while Crystal Palace have also collected seven points following their heavy defeat to Brighton.

Bournemouth also enjoyed a positive result, beating Sunderland 2-0 to improve their position in the standings. Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, were left disappointed after failing to earn any points against Arsenal.

The latest round of matches has created different situations for several clubs. Manchester City continue to enjoy a perfect start, while Arsenal are maintaining their challenge for the championship. Chelsea are also building momentum as they pursue a place among the Premier League's leading teams.

For Manchester United, the draw against Leeds United represents another missed opportunity to climb the table. Carrick's men must now focus on their next fixtures as they attempt to recover lost ground.

As the competition continues, the struggle for the title, European qualification and survival promises to deliver more twists and turns in the weeks ahead.
