Final EPL Table After Yesterday's Result

According to a report by BBC Sport on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, the Premier League standings have been updated following Newcastle United's 1-0 defeat to Everton on Monday night.

Everton secured all three points at St James' Park thanks to a second-half goal from Thierno Barry, handing Newcastle another disappointing result in front of their home supporters.

The victory was an important boost for Everton as they moved up the Premier League standings, while Newcastle missed the opportunity to collect valuable points and improve their position.

The result also brought the latest round of Premier League fixtures to a close, with Arsenal having previously recorded a 1-0 victory over Liverpool on Sunday.

Arsenal remain at the top of the table with 24 points from nine matches, having established a three-point advantage over second-placed Manchester City, who have 21 points.

Brighton occupy third position with 19 points, while Chelsea are fourth with 16 points. Liverpool complete the top five with 15 points, followed by Brentford in sixth place with 14 points.

Everton have climbed into seventh position with 13 points following their victory at Newcastle. Bournemouth, Tottenham and Aston Villa occupy eighth, ninth and tenth positions respectively, with 12 points each.

Hull City, Leeds United, Newcastle United and Ipswich Town occupy 11th to 14th positions, with 11 points apiece.

Fulham are 15th with nine points, while Coventry City sit 16th, also with nine points. Manchester United remain in 17th position with seven points, level on points with Crystal Palace, who occupy 18th place.

Nottingham Forest are 19th with six points, while Sunderland remain at the bottom of the table with five points.

The defeat leaves Newcastle with plenty of work to do, while Everton will be encouraged by their latest result as they look to climb further up the standings.

The next round of Premier League fixtures will provide another opportunity for clubs to improve their positions as the battle for the title, European qualification and survival continues.
