Confirmed: Barcelona Superstar Signs New Contract Until 2030

According to a report by Barca Universal on Thursday November 5, 2026, the news that Barcelona captain Raphinha has extended his contract until June 2030 has been confirmed by the club.

After an outstanding 2026–27 campaign, his previous deal was set to expire in 2028; this agreement will extend it. The Brazilian striker has reiterated his intention to stay at Spotify Camp Nou and has maintained his prominent role under Hansi Flick.

In a formal statement, the club confirmed the 29-year-old's contract, which runs until June 30, 2030. Raphinha became an integral part of Barcelona after joining the club in the summer of 2022 from Leeds United.

His time with former Catalonia manager Xavi Hernandez was erratic in his early years with the club. His performances, though, have been markedly better ever since Flick assumed control. In 190 appearances for Barcelona, the winger has scored 94 goals and added 62 assists.

This season, Raphinha has been a major player. He has taken up a central attacking position after being named the club's first captain. The forward's return has been remarkable since the switch, as he has scored 19 goals and assisted on three more in only 13 games.

Clubs in Saudi Arabia are interested in him after seeing his performances. In spite of these advances, Raphinha has made it clear that he wants to keep playing for Barcelona for the rest of his career.

The club now has more assurance regarding one of its important offensive players thanks to the new deal, which is more proof of that dedication. By extending his stay by two years beyond his previous contract, the Brazilian will now be available to Barcelona until 2030.

With the renewal, Flick's project takes a major step forward as Barcelona aims to build on their impressive start to the season. Even in the next campaigns, the squad will look to Raphinha for direction, inspiration, and originality.
