According to a report by Daily Post on Monday October 19, 2026, Kelechi Iheanacho continued his impressive goalscoring form as Bursaspor secured a 2-0 victory over Pendikspor in their Turkish league encounter on Monday night.

The Nigerian international found the net once again, extending his goalscoring streak to 11 consecutive games and helping Bursaspor secure another important victory at the Atatürk Spor Kompleksi.

Halil Akbunar opened the scoring for Bursaspor in the 10th minute, rewarding the hosts for their early dominance and giving them an advantage heading into the remainder of the contest.

Iheanacho then doubled Bursaspor's lead two minutes after the hour mark to put the result beyond Pendikspor's reach.

The former Leicester City striker capitalised on a well-delivered cross from Lincoln, finding himself unmarked inside the penalty area before powering a header into the net.

The goal further underlined Iheanacho's importance to Bursaspor, with the forward continuing to deliver consistently in front of goal since the beginning of the campaign.

According to Daily Post Nigeria, the 29-year-old has now recorded 15 goals and four assists in 10 league appearances for the Turkish club this season.

His remarkable form has made him a key figure in Bursaspor's push towards the top of the league table, with his goals helping the team collect valuable points.

The victory over Pendikspor also proved significant for Bursaspor's position in the standings.

Mustafa Er's side moved into second place with 25 points, just one point behind league leaders Kayserispor.

The Nigerian forward will have another opportunity to extend his scoring run when Bursaspor face Keçiörengücü in their next league fixture on Sunday.

All eyes will be on Iheanacho as he looks to continue his outstanding performances and help his team maintain their momentum in the Turkish league.
