Chelsea have spent more than €2 billion on player transfers since Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital took control of the club in 2022, with their net spending reaching €700 million, according to FootballTransfers.
According to a report by FootballTransfers on Saturday, 17 October 2026, Chelsea have spent a total of €2.07 billion on new signings under the BlueCo ownership, while generating €1.37 billion from player sales.
The figures highlight the scale of investment at Stamford Bridge since Boehly and Behdad Eghbali took charge, although the club's spending has not consistently translated into domestic success.
Chelsea's first major signing under the new ownership was Raheem Sterling, who joined from Manchester City for €56.2 million in 2022.
Other arrivals during the initial transfer window included Kalidou Koulibaly, Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The club's spending increased significantly in subsequent windows, with Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk arriving in January 2023 before Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku joined later that year.
Further recruitment followed in 2024 and 2025, with Pedro Neto, Joao Felix, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Joao Pedro, Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens among the players signed.

The club have spent another €407.5 million in the 2026-27 campaign, according to the report.
Morgan Rogers became Chelsea's most expensive signing under BlueCo after joining from Aston Villa for €138 million in 2026.
Fernandez ranks second following his €121 million move from Benfica in January 2023, while Caicedo occupies third place after arriving from Brighton for €116 million.
Meanwhile, Kai Havertz remains Chelsea's most expensive sale under the ownership group, having joined Arsenal for €75 million in 2023.
Mason Mount's €64.2 million move to Manchester United ranks second, followed by Noni Madueke's €56 million departure.
